The Nobel Peace Prize goes to the World Food Program



  The 2020 Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to the United Nations World Meals Programme (WFP) for its efforts to fight starvation. The Norwegian Nobel Committee stated the WFP had acted “as a driving power in efforts to stop using starvation as a weapon of battle and battle”.
